Celexon

Celexon Screen Rollo Professional Plus 220 x 165 cm. Type: Rollo screen. Projection type: Front projection. Weight: 10 kg. The soft-return mechanism makes raising the screen easier than ever before. The screen features black masking and a black back. Pull the screen down about 5 cm and simply let go. The screen will retract automatically. Celexon has implemented this mechanism based on gears, which offers a significantly longer lifespan and consistent retraction force compared to traditional oil-based systems. The black masking ensures optimal image framing and enhances the contrast of your projection. The black back prevents light from entering or exiting, allowing the screen to be used easily in front of a window. The screen can be locked at approximately every 10 cm, enabling not only the 1:1 format but also other formats such as 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, or 21:9.

Aspect ratio

Describes the format of image width to image height, with 16:9 being the common TV and office standard. Values such as 21:9 or 32:9 stand for extremely wide monitors, which often replace two old screens next to each other.

Gain factor

The light amplification factor, or gain factor, is an important factor when selecting a screen. Factor tells you something about the reflective properties. An ordinary white sheet of paper has a gain factor of about 1.0. It scatters the incident light homogeneously and diffusely in all directions. Thus it appears practically always equally bright, no matter from which angle you look at it.

Picture walls with a gain above 1.0 try to reflect a certain amount of light more specifically towards the audience, which usually sits axially in front of the picture. Developers achieve this through special surfaces and coatings. They take, so to speak, a small step towards the properties of a mirror. A gain of 2.0 describes a screen that - measured on axis - reflects twice as much light as a perfectly diffuse surface with 1.0. This is why we speak of amplification.

Standard 4:3 Aspect Ratio

The light gain factor of 1.2 provides a slight brightening of the projected image in mildly darkened rooms.

Slightly Enhanced Gain Factor

The built-in soft-return mechanism uses a gear-based system to ensure smooth and controlled rolling up of the screen.
