Celexon

Celexon Screen Roll Professional Plus 200 x 150 cm. Type: Roll screen. Dimensions: 208 cm x 158.5 cm. Projection type: Front projection. Weight: 9 kg. The soft-return mechanism makes it easier to retract the screen. The black masking and black backing ensure optimal image framing and increased contrast. The three-layer projection fabric with a gain factor of 1.2 provides excellent projection results under most ambient conditions. To operate the screen, pull it down about 5 cm and simply let go; it will retract on its own. Celexon has implemented this mechanism based on gears, which offers a significantly longer lifespan and consistent retraction force compared to conventional oil-based systems. The black backing prevents light from entering or escaping, allowing the screen to be used easily in front of a window. The screen can be locked at intervals of about 10 cm, enabling not only the 1:1 format but also other formats such as 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, or 21:9.

Aspect ratio

Describes the format of image width to image height, with 16:9 being the common TV and office standard. Values such as 21:9 or 32:9 stand for extremely wide monitors, which often replace two old screens next to each other.

Gain factor

The light amplification factor, or gain factor, is an important factor when selecting a screen. Factor tells you something about the reflective properties. An ordinary white sheet of paper has a gain factor of about 1.0. It scatters the incident light homogeneously and diffusely in all directions. Thus it appears practically always equally bright, no matter from which angle you look at it.

Picture walls with a gain above 1.0 try to reflect a certain amount of light more specifically towards the audience, which usually sits axially in front of the picture. Developers achieve this through special surfaces and coatings. They take, so to speak, a small step towards the properties of a mirror. A gain of 2.0 describes a screen that - measured on axis - reflects twice as much light as a perfectly diffuse surface with 1.0. This is why we speak of amplification.
