The waterproof colored pencils Pablo, designed by Maison Caran d’Ache for artists and illustrators, are intended for high-quality color drawings. The particularly precise Pablo leads are ideal for realistic representations. The dry leads, with a diameter of 3.8 mm and excellent opacity, do not produce dust and offer a particularly large color palette with 120 shades. Artists, illustrators, and art teachers can rely on the exceptionally good lightfastness of the leads and their complete opacity. Due to their high opacity, the Pablo colored pencils can be easily applied to a variety of surfaces, from paper and cardboard with different textures to wooden panels. Thanks to their dense and velvety texture, the leads are suitable for shading, color mixing, and layering techniques. The pencil barrels are fully painted and feature a cap in the vibrant color of the lead. The Pablo pencils are designed and manufactured in the Geneva workshops of Caran d’Ache according to the criteria of the Swiss Made quality label and comply with applicable ecological standards and certifications.
