Survival is just the beginning.

Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 game of the same name. For 2023, it reinterprets modern survival horror.

With contemporary gameplay, detailed and vibrant graphics, and a revised story that does not overlook what made the original special, this Resident Evil 4 becomes a modern survival horror game where life and death, moments of relaxation and chilling thrills are never far apart.

Story

Six years have passed since the biological tragedy of Raccoon City. Leon S. Kennedy, a survivor of the incident, now works as an agent under the direct command of the President of the United States. After the President's daughter is kidnapped, Leon, who has gained experience in many missions, is dispatched to rescue her.

The trail leads him to a remote European village, but something is terribly wrong with the locals...

And so begins the story of a daring rescue mission and relentless survival horror.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
