Capcom

Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 game of the same name. Interpreted for the year 2023, it brings state-of-the-art survival horror. Contemporary gameplay, detailed, vivid graphics and a reworked storyline, which together do not neglect what made the original stand out, make this Resident Evil 4 a modern survival horror game where life and death, moments of relaxation and eerie thrills are never far apart. Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, was tasked with rescuing the President's kidnapped daughter. He followed her trail to a remote European village where something seems very wrong with the locals ... Now the curtain rises and a story of daring rescue and gruesome horror begins, where life and death, horror and catharsis converge. On board are modernised gameplay, an evolved storyline and vividly detailed graphics. Resident Evil 4 marks the rebirth of a true industry heavyweight. Relive the nightmare that revolutionised the survival horror genre.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
