Product details

Montval paper was designed by the famous painter Gaspard Maillol, the nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and was produced at his request by Canson in the early 20th century. Since then, this paper has acquired new properties. One of them is its excellent erasability: corrections can be easily made by cleaning the paper with water, a sponge, or a brush. No traces of watercolor remain, and the paper can be reworked. It is easy to use, accessible, and suitable for everyone.

Canson Montval is also available as a book. With its hardcover and elegant elastic band closure, it is the ideal companion to foster creativity while traveling. The inner storage pocket is perfect for keeping the most precious memories.
