1557 is an acid-free, pure white, lightly textured paper for sketches and drawings. Its double sizing makes it particularly durable, preventing fraying even after multiple erasures and scraping. Ideal for pastel, charcoal, sanguine, and with a higher weight also suitable for watercolor, ink, acrylic, and gouache.
