Sie ist recht flott unterwegs, bietet eine ansprechende Ausstattung mit WLAN und 20-fachem Zoom, wobei auch die Bildqualität auf einem ordentlichen Niveau liegt. Insgesamt bietet die Canon PowerShot SX280 HS ein prima Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Der Testsieger schießt scharfe und detailreiche Fotos und kann diese per interner WLAN Einheit auch an andere Geräte kabellos übertragen. Auch bei wenig Licht sind die Ergebnisse erstaunlich gut, sodass sie ein guter Allrounder auf reisen ist. Der etwas geringe Zoomfaktor könnte allerdings größer sein.

Die Bild- und Videoqualität der Canon ist durchaus gut, wobei aber der Ton kaum zu gebrauchen ist. Erfreulich, dass die Bedienung der Kamera denkbar einfach ist und somit auch Anfänger mit ihr schnell warm werden. Leider ist der Autofokus bei wenig Licht nicht so effektiv wie bei genügend Licht. Dennoch ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis das hier der Hersteller bietet.

Die Canon bietet ebenfalls eine WLAN Einheit und ein GPS Modul, um den Aufnahmen die Orte der Entstehung zuordnen zu können. Das Display ist zwar nicht hochauflösend aber zeigt genügend Details mit 460.000 Pixeln was überdurchschnittlich ist. Die Bildqualität ist ebenfalls solide und erst ab einem ISO Wert von 400 tritt Rauschen auf. Der Akku ist leider nicht sonderlich ausdauernd.
