The +2 diopters of this B+W close-up lens focus at a 0.5 m distance for all lenses in infinity setting. Therefore, for 50 mm lenses, it provides a seamless extension for an extended close-up range (up to approximately 1:4.5). For telephoto lenses up to 135 mm, the NL 1 range is seamlessly continued (for 85 mm up to approximately 1:3.5, for 100 mm up to approximately 1:3.2, and for 135 mm up to approximately 1:2.5).
