The +2 diopters of this B+W close-up lens focus at a distance of 0.5 m for all lenses in infinity setting. Therefore, for 50 mm lenses, it provides a seamless extension for an extended close-up range of up to approximately 1:4.5. For telephoto lenses up to 135 mm, the NL 1 range is seamlessly continued, with 85 mm lenses achieving up to approximately 1:3.5, 100 mm lenses up to approximately 1:3.2, and 135 mm lenses up to approximately 1:2.5.
