Innofil3D PLA filament is reputed to be one of the most reliable PLA filaments on the market. The careful selection of color pigments ensures consistent and vibrant colors. The optimized manufacturing process guarantees excellent printing results, and clogs in the nozzle are a thing of the past when used correctly. Unlike ABS, a heated print bed is not strictly necessary for PLA filaments, as they shrink less upon cooling and the undesirable warping effect is largely avoided. PLA is made from corn starch and is biodegradable under industrial conditions. Therefore, it is one of the most environmentally friendly filaments for 3D printing. The Innofil PLA filament is suitable for both home use and technically demanding models.

Key specifications

Print material

3D printing filament is the thermoplastic feedstock for fused deposition modeling 3D printers. There are many types of filament available with different properties, requiring different temperatures to print.

Filament diameter

Maximum print speed

Tensile strength

Indicates the tensile strength that a printed component can withstand before it breaks, measured in megapascals (MPa) in the print plane (X-Y). Higher values indicate more robust, tear-resistant prints.
