Product details
Bambu Lab AMS Hub The AMS Hub is used to expand the number of AMS connected to Bambu Series X1/P1 printers from 1 AMS unit (4 channels) to a maximum of 4 AMS units (16 channels) to improve filling speed across your multiple AMS units and supports buffered signal redundancy. Supports up to 16 colours Each Bambu Lab AMS consists of 4 filament slots and up to 4 AMS can be installed in parallel Supports up to 16 colours for stunning prints that really stand out. To achieve 16-colour printing, connect 4 AMS via one AMS hub. *The image above is for reference only. Try to place the AMS on the left side of the AMS hub when actually printing, otherwise the filament can easily get stuck in the PTFE tube. Expand your AMS options The printer's built-in buffer can only be connected to 1 AMS. If the printer is replaced by an AMS Hub, it can connect up to 4 AMS. Visit the Bambu Wiki : Connect AMS Hub and Multi-AMS Installation Install the AMS Hub on the back of the printer, replace the filament buffer if present and use the appropriate Bambu 4-pin cable to connect to the printer. Use the Bambu 6-pin cable to connect to the first AMS and then continue. Use the 6-pin cable to connect the remaining AMS in series. Use the appropriate PTFE tubing to connect the AMS hub and the air hose connector on the back of the printer. The hose should run between the 4-pin connector and the coil holder to reduce resistance. Depending on the placement of the AMS and the printer, you can choose the appropriate length of PTFE tubing to connect the AMS and the AMS hub. The tubing should be as short as possible and avoid coiling to reduce feed resistance.
