With the TinyHouse Set, you can be self-sufficient for 2 days, utilizing and storing solar energy. It's that simple.
The TinyHouse Set consists of the following components:
- Easysolar
The EasySolar combines an MPPT solar charge controller, an inverter/charger, and AC distribution in a single device. The installation of the device is straightforward and requires minimal wiring. The inverter operates all common loads (coffee maker, kettle, small vacuum cleaner/hairdryer), depending on the available energy from the battery or the sun and your consumption behavior. The charger charges the batteries in overcast conditions or supports the inverter during high consumption from the grid or a generator.
- Battery Monitor BMV 700
The battery monitor keeps track of the batteries and provides information on charging, discharging, and charge status.
- Battery Protection Battery Protect
The Battery Protect safeguards the battery against deep discharge from connected 12V consumers such as refrigerators, lights, etc.
- Energy Storage Gel Battery 440Ah (5500Wh)
The batteries store electricity from the solar system or the grid and provide 2 days of self-sufficiency without sun or grid power under "Tiny" consumption.
- Solar System 720Wp
The solar system supplies energy for charging the battery and/or for current consumption. In summer, under full sun (45°, south-facing), it meets the "Tiny" consumption and charges the batteries with about 25% of their capacity. Thus, the batteries (when fully discharged) would be fully charged again after 4 days.
- Energy Consumption & Yield
"Tiny" consumption per 24 hours is approximately 1100Wh / 12.5V -> 95Ah
Energy yield 700Wp x 4 (expected yield per day) = 2800Wh - 15% (loss from charge controller & battery) = approximately 2380Wh (12.5V - 190Ah).
