Product details
Hum in audio systems is usually caused by ground loops in the system. A common mode current flows in a ground loop generated by an electrical system that has grounding at different voltage potentials.
This results in a hum of 50 Hz in the audio signal. The most common method of solving these problems is an audio isolation transformer like the TR2070, which must always be available to any audio technician. If problems with ground loops occur, they can be solved in no time at all with the TR2070.
