Multiple methods are available for controlling the device, such as using the push buttons on the front, RS-232, and Ethernet connections. Additionally, the VM5808HA supports the ATEN Video Matrix Control App for displaying and managing the device status. It can also be integrated into the ATEN control system, a platform for centrally monitoring, managing, and controlling Ethernet-based ATEN video matrix switches and third-party devices. Signal management is facilitated by the LCD screen on the front, which provides the user with a quick overview of all connection points. Furthermore, the local HDMI output allows for real-time monitoring of multiple sources on a single screen, right where the matrix switch is located.
