4K HDMI/DVI to HDMI Converter with Audio De-Embedder. The ATEN VC881 is a high-quality HDMI/DVI to HDMI converter with audio de-embedding functionality. When you input a DVI signal, it converts the signal to an HDMI signal. For an HDMI signal, it extracts the HDMI audio signal. The enhanced video support provides a better-defined connection with video resolutions up to 4K and complies with HDCP 1.4. The VC881 supports signal interface conversion (DVI to HDMI) and HDMI audio de-embedding. For the HDMI audio de-embedding function, the VC881 separates the audio from the HDMI video and converts it to S/PDIF, coaxial, or an RCA stereo audio signal to support an audio system that is separate from the display. This allows HDMI video to continue on the screen while simultaneously delivering audio to a nearby audio system. Additionally, the VC881 supports ARC to simplify setup by eliminating the need for a separate S/PDIF audio connection. The compact housing design and audio de-embedding function make the VC881 ideal for bars, public transport stations, and home theaters.
