The CL5716I Slideaway™ LCD KVM Switch is a control unit that allows access to multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM console (keyboard, video, and mouse). A single CL5716I can control up to 16 computers. Up to 15 additional KVM switches can be connected, enabling control of up to 256 computers from a single KVM console. The CL5716I LCD KVM Switch is an IP-based KVM controller that allows both local and remote users to monitor and access multiple computers. Remote users can access the switch via a web browser over TCP/IP. The CL5716I supports up to 32 simultaneous user logins for single-bus computer access. An integrated feature similar to an internet chat program—the Message Board—allows users to communicate with each other. The ability to exchange information in real-time enables them to collaboratively manage the installation smoothly and efficiently. The CL5716I offers a space-saving, straightforward approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, 17" LED-backlit LCD monitor, and touchpad into a 1U rack-mountable slide case. Additionally, since the CL5716I is based on a modular design, the KVM area can be detached from the switch area for convenient maintenance and repair.
