A kit with 1 splitter and 8 receivers for distributing 1 HDMI source to 8 screens up to 40 meters away via a single Cat 6 cable. The VS1828KIT is a kit that distributes an HDMI source with up to 4K at 30 Hz (4:4:4) to 8 screens over a single Cat 6 cable, up to 40 meters away. The system also supports lossless digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Since the receivers are powered by the splitter through Power over Cable (PoC) functionality, only one power supply is needed for the splitter, which also helps to avoid a cluttered cable installation. The splitter features a local HDMI output for content monitoring or cascading. Additionally, the splitter has a user-adjustable EDID switch, allowing the user to configure output video resolutions and audio features for seamless integration into the system. The ultra-light, palm-sized housing of the receiver allows for flexible installation, including mounting and placement in tight spaces.
