Tool for removing and mounting the heat spreader on Intel Kaby Lake-S, Skylake-S, and Coffee Lake-S processors. The Dr. Delid is designed for delidding Kaby Lake-S, Skylake-S, and Coffee Lake-S processors, as well as for the precise reassembly of the heat spreader after replacing the thermal paste. When removing the heat spreader, it is gently twisted off the CPU, preventing damage to the thin PCB of the processors, as the force is distributed across all four edges of the CPU. The actual separation of the CPU from the heat spreader occurs smoothly without jerking or excessive force. The black base of the PROFESSIONAL version is made of anodized aluminum with high surface hardness, unlike the standard version, which is made of acetal.
