With the SmartConnect Ethernet port, you can easily connect the Smart-UPS to your network and monitor it remotely via the secure, cloud-based APC SmartConnect web portal. In addition, the UPS can be monitored at any time via EcoStruxure IT Expert through this port.

By connecting the UPS to a maximum of one server via a USB cable, it can automatically supply that server with a shutdown signal during an extended power outage, thus preventing a hard shutdown. This precise timing can be set using the free APC PowerChute Serial Edit software.
