APC Smart-UPS
750 VA, 500 W, Line-interactive UPSProduct details
Stay online and prevent data loss. As soon as the power goes out, an APC Smart-UPS provides immediate backup power for all connected devices. Since this happens automatically with an APC UPS, you can prevent unwanted outages of devices such as PCs, servers, or switches. With the free APC PowerChute software, you can even automatically and safely shut down critical IT hardware when the UPS battery is nearly depleted. This helps prevent data loss, downtime, and physical damage to the hardware.
Additionally, a Smart-UPS protects connected devices from power surges caused by lightning strikes. This APC backup power supply is ideal for use in small businesses.
You can easily read the estimated battery runtime in the runtime graph found among the product images. It clearly shows how long the UPS will provide backup power at a specific load.
Ready-to-use UPS remote monitoring is available for free during a 6-month trial period. With the SmartConnect Ethernet port, you can easily connect the Smart-UPS to your network and monitor it remotely through the secure cloud-based APC SmartConnect web portal. Furthermore, the UPS can be monitored at any time via this port using EcoStruxure IT Expert.
By connecting the UPS to a maximum of one server via a USB cable, it can automatically send a shutdown signal during a prolonged power outage, preventing a hard shutdown. This exact timing can be set using the free APC PowerChute Serial Edit software.
