The APC Rack Power Distribution Unit AP7920B provides power exactly where your equipment needs it: in the rack. The device features eight individually switchable C13 outlets and can be easily managed via a web interface. Configuration and monitoring of the device are possible using SNMP and Telnet protocols, as well as through a web-based interface. Future product enhancements can be accommodated by updating the device's firmware. The device allows for remote switching on and off of individual outputs, enabling you to disconnect unused devices from the power supply without needing to be on-site. An adjustable load delay allows for the sequencing of the power on and off process, preventing load spikes that could lead to circuit overloads. Additionally, it is possible to set the power on and off sequence so that dependent devices are only powered on once the prerequisite devices are operational. The practical display keeps you informed about the current power flow locally, allowing you to monitor usage and prevent overload situations before they occur. If the freely configurable load limits are exceeded, the device alerts you through visual signals and network notifications.
