The AAA Alpine Air Ambulance, specialized in rescue services in alpine regions, was founded in 2011 by the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) and Lions Air Group AG. Their customized helicopters are used for emergency rescues, medical evacuations, the transport of medical personnel and equipment, as well as search and rescue operations. Their main purpose is to provide quick and safe medical assistance to individuals in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
The AFX-135 is a licensed scale replica with an authentic paint job. The remote-controlled AAA helicopter features numerous authentic details: even the individual rivets of the cabin, made from solid plastic, are represented. This scale helicopter is equipped with LED lighting at both the front and rear, enhancing its striking appearance. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto takeoff and landing, the flight behavior is gentle, and the helicopter is suitable for beginners despite its multi-blade rotor head.
The flight time is up to 12 minutes with the integrated smart battery. The special feature: the battery includes a USB charging port that connects easily to the supplied USB cable. The battery and the model have a voltage monitoring function (LED blinks when the voltage is too low), so the pilot is always informed about when it’s best to return for recharging.
The high-quality 2.4GHz transmitter fits well in the hand and features three different flight modes (from beginner to advanced), aluminum sticks, and the option to switch from Mode 2 (factory setting) to Mode 1. The remote control is also adorned with the official AAA logo. This AFX-135 is delivered as an RTF version (Ready-to-Fly).
