Amewi AFX-135 Pro Alpine Air Ambulance

The AAA Alpine Air Ambulance, specializing in air rescue, has been operating since 2013 from its base in Aargau at Birrfeld Airport and since 2019 from the Balzers heliport. Its well-equipped helicopters are used for rescue missions, patient transports, and search and rescue operations. The main goal is to provide quick and safe medical assistance to individuals in case of accidents and illnesses.

Our AFX-135 Pro is a licensed scale model at a 1:32 ratio with an authentic paint job. The model is on par with its "big brother" – even the individual rivets of the cabin, made from solid plastic, are depicted. The helicopter features LED lighting at the front, bottom, and rear, which not only completes the impressive look and enables flights at dusk but also indicates the flight status and the voltage of the flight battery. For example, if the LED starts to blink and turns red, the voltage is too low. This alerts the pilot that it is better to return for a recharge.

A special feature of the battery is the built-in USB charging port, which connects easily to the included USB cable. The flight time with a full battery is about 8-10 minutes. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto-start and auto-landing, the flight behavior is particularly gentle, making the helicopter suitable for beginners despite its multi-blade rotor head. The high-quality 2.4GHz transmitter fits comfortably in the hand and offers the option to pre-select different flight phases (from beginner to advanced) as well as the option to switch from Mode 2 (factory setting) to Mode 1. Ergonomic control sticks are included with the comfortable transmitter. Additionally, the AFX-135 Pro can switch to reverse flight at the push of a button from a safety height of about nine meters.
