AKG DMS300 Instrumental Set

The DMS300 Instrumental Set is a digital wireless system for instruments and presentations. It consists of a wireless microphone and a bodypack transmitter. The system is registration-free and license-free worldwide, as it operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Thanks to uncompressed wireless transmission with 24-bit/48 kHz, the audio quality remains consistently high. To protect confidential content, the signal is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping during transmission. Both instruments and microphones can be connected to the bodypack transmitter. A connection cable for guitar or bass is included.

The transmitter has a runtime of up to 12 hours using just 2 AA batteries. The battery status of the bodypack transmitter is displayed on both the receiver and an LCD screen on the transmitter. Operating the DMS300 system is very simple. An available frequency is automatically detected and set. To prevent interference from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices, the receiver changes the wireless frequency as soon as overlaps are detected. For reliable transmission, the receiver is equipped with two antennas. Up to eight DMS300 systems can be synchronized and operated in parallel. A mounting kit for rack installation (RMU-40) is available as an option. For optimal operation, the distance between the transmitter and receiver should not exceed 30 meters.
