The MPK mini focuses on the quick realization of musical ideas. Dedicated octave selection switches provide the full range of notes. The sustain pedal input allows for expressive playing. With the integrated, customizable arpeggiator, complex melodies can be created with minimal effort. MPC Note Repeat and Full Level offer the same technologies used in Akai Professional's MPC workstations.
The MPK mini includes virtual instruments as well as professional music production software. The Hybrid 3 synthesizer from AIR Music Tech delivers synth sounds ranging from retro to modern. Wobble from SONiVOX offers spectral morphing synthesis on two independent channels with independent filters and LFO control. MPC Essentials, the software for groove/beat production and sample triggering, allows for true MPC workflow in any DAW or standalone.
The MPK mini MIDI Editor software unlocks the full potential of the MPK mini. This MIDI editor is a powerful preset management software for Mac and PC. Presets for virtual instruments, plugins, and DAWs can be created, customized, and then saved on the MPK mini.
