This USB cable is equipped with thicker power wires (AWG 24). The rest of the cable has a thickness of AWG 28. USB-A male to USB-B male cables are commonly used to connect peripherals like printers or scanners to the USB port of a computer. Please note: A USB-B 3.0 connector does not fit into an (older) device with a USB-B 2.0 port, as a USB-B 3.0 connector is larger than a USB-B 2.0 connector.
