Enhanced Surge Protection
The Acar R8 POWER is a 16-ampere enhanced version of the popular protective device from the acar-AXON family. With a length of 44.4 cm, it offers eight grounded outlets, which is sufficient for most applications. Its compact size allows for easy placement, even on a desk.

It features a reinforced two-pole power switch that withstands large current surges, such as those that occur when turning on PC power supplies or laptop chargers.

Protection for the Demanding
The integrated enhanced surge protection system safeguards all power supply lines and diverts surge energy to the ground via the protective earth conductor (PE).

An indicator informs about the proper functioning of the surge protection. The maximum load that can be supplied and protected is 3680W.

Comfort and Safety
The Acar R8 Power strips are both simple and universal products for the safe power supply of energy-hungry devices, as well as advanced solutions for surge protection.

Unlike standard strips, they feature a reinforced two-pole power switch behind a protective cover and a diode that indicates the operation of the surge protection system. There are 8 two-pole sockets with protective contact rated at 16A/250V available.

Additionally, there is a fourfold cable management system on the underside of the strip, and the package includes brackets for mounting on flat surfaces.
