  Seems to be a good solution

  After building an ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING with Intel Core i9-7900X which came to the style stand after 14 days (both parts were replaced without any problems!) I thought that it would be better to choose a more solidvariant of motherboard. I think I made the right choice with the Asus WS X299. It is simply more solid and especially the heatsinks give a better impression. CPU stays cool. 2 things are absent compared to the ROG variant: LED's and Wifi. LED's don't interest me. Wifi does.
  System has been running for 2-3 weeks now and has no problems (except that Windows 10 Hibernate often leads to restart). more
