On 28 July 2020, the time has finally come for the Pirates in Batavia to re-open their doors. Europa Park visitors are taken on exciting expeditions: after a long time of waiting, the popular «Pirates in Batavia» are returning to the Dutch-themed area.
Enjoy a boat ride through the exotic harbour city of Batavia and accompany Bartholomeus van Robbemond on his search for the mystical Dagger of Batavia, the Fire Tiger.
Prepare yourself for an exciting underground boat ride experience, which closely resembles its original design from 1987. For eight minutes, you will be taken through the exotic harbour city of Batavia. Outlandish sounds and unforgettable scenery, with 125 figures, will make visitors feel like they’re in 18th century Indonesia. On the canal, the boats drift through the Dutch colony, past exotic landscapes, always following the footsteps of pirates and adventurers.
With more than 100 attractions and 23 hours of shows daily, Europa Park is a unique destination for families and friends. 15 European themed areas with detailed architecture, authentic vegetation and customary cuisine invite you to embark on a journey of discovery and pure adventure.
