New, but not improved.
The old model had a sliding cover to switch off the mouse and protect the lens. This was very fast to enable and useful when putting the mouse in your pocket to move between meetings. The new one has a fiddly little switch. Shame they removed this feature.
Otherwise, a great little mouse.
