I would only like to be able to control the game sound and voice chat on the PS4 differently, are there cheaper alternatives?

If you are using the PS4's voice chat, you can roughly change this in the party settings. The product is excellent value for money, I must say. I have used other products but would recommend the Astro the most. If you use voicechat via skype for example and still want the game sound, I recommend the bundle with the astro mix amp pro. Also very good value for money.
