As far as I know, one of the differences is that the earpieces of the Airdots 2 are no longer "soft" (if you google the Pro 2 you will see this in the pictures). I prefer "soft" earphones, they are usually more comfortable for me and last better. That's why I bought the Airdots 1, and I'm very happy with them :)

did you try to press any button aviable on the case of the airpods till it starts blinking or somerhing? i think you did but if not try things like that

Do you mean the ones that are available here at Digitec? That would be the Comply 400 series (4mm inner diameter). But since they are senselessly overpriced and too long for the charging case (you have to shorten them with scissors anyway), I advise you to import them from China. Foreign links are not allowed, look for example at Aliexpress for memory foam with an inner diameter of 3-4.5mm, you can get a whole bag of them for 1-2$.
If ALL the In Ears fall out, then these will too. The only other way around this is to replace the normal silicone plugs with memory foam.
300 mAh for the case and 40 mAh for each earphone. In use, the battery lasts a few days easily but not as long as "high end" headphones. Good value for money, unfortunately the battery has degraded. The active noise reduction is really good.

i use the airdots mainly for music. but the two calls i made with them went really well and the person opposite said that no ambient noise was heard. so it works well.

The connection is exactly the same as with the Airpods. However, I would generally advise against buying these headphones.
Yes, it is no problem to use either the left or the right one.
