I tried to connect the remote control to my IPhone X via cable, but it does not work. I did it as described in the videos, but without success. What could be the reason for this?
well known problem with newbies, smile. sparky can understand either the handset or the remote control, but not both. you have to unbind sparky first. switch sparky on. now press the power button for approx. 9 sec. until it beeps three times. switch it off and then on again normally. now for the remote control: switch on the remote control and sparky normally. wait until the connection is established. now you have to press the keys c1+FN + pasuentaste ( bottom right ) on the remote control at the same time until the remote control starts to beep. this will continue for a few seconds, then it will stop and the light on the remote control will turn green. now you have correctly established a connection from the sparky to the remote control. if you now want to fly otg, you should consider the following sequence: switch on the sparky and the remote control, wait until the connection is established. now plug your iphone lighting cable (micro usb) carefully and without violence into the remote control, then open the dji go4 app and only then plug the cable into the iphone. the connection should now work, if not, try the whole thing again 2-3 times. good luck.
Yes, I bought it in a combo. I have also flown with the drone and connected the phone via wifi and the image transmission was also good, but I would like to improve this with the cable. So 100m distance and 50-70m height works well, but sometimes has interruptions. The drone is still in the field of view, but it is advantageous to see briefly on the phone in which direction the drone is filming :) I have read that there are also problems with some iPhone 8 and iPhone X users but with iPhone 6 users there is no problem. I just don't understand why.
Have you already connected the phone to the remote control via WLAN? If so, the cable should take over the transmission, as far as I know. But I haven't tried it out myself yet. In addition, if the remote control is not purchased together with the Spark in the fly more combo, it must be connected to the Spark at the beginning. Have you done this? Does the drone fly perfectly via Wi-Fi?
