R4 MKIII. I know the previous model. My questions: 1.is there a mute button ? Or HOW do you mute? 2. can you fast forward and rewind a CD track, search for a position e.g.?

1. no, but you can use the pause button.
2. yes, but the forward/rewind winder has only one speed level (approx. 2 times the speed of normal playback).
