Is the sound better than the A50 gen 3?

I had both and of course Arctic Pro is better, sorry what use is the A50 as a bass monster if I can't hear delicate female voices or the footsteps of my opponents? If you play PC games or don't need a micro for consoles, I'd recommend studio headphones like the Beyerdynamic dt880 or 990pro if you want more bass, or the dt770pro. If you really need a headset, buy the HyperX Cloud II - you can't really go wrong.

I do not know. But I would advise them against the product. The joints on the ear cups are made of plastic. The headphones broke when I put them on. It's better to buy a different product.

It has a GameDAC. I first bought the Arctis Pro + GameDAC with cable and then also the Wireless. Both came with the GameDAC. The title number of the wireless I bought is: article 10225034. I recommend the wireless, the cable got on my nerves after a short time. I don't notice any differences between the headsets.

Hello, I have the wireless version, but that makes no difference. The PS5 has no optical input. On the Steelseries homepage it says that you can get an update, but if I understand it correctly, surround is no longer possible, only stereo. I would not have bought it so shortly before the release of the PS5.

Hmmm, strange. Just have it without game dac. But I don't have this problem... Maybe it's the product itself. Have you looked on the internet for these problems? Or if anyone else has the same problem? I wouldn't know a solution to the problem.... Good luck

You can configure this in the Windows sound settings. - Right-click on the loudspeaker symbol in the taskbar next to the clock. - Open "Sound Settings - at the very bottom under "advanced sound settings" select app volume and device settings - Here you can now choose for each application whether chat or game.

I'm not 100% sure, but this seems to be a USB 8-pin mini-B, which was used for proprietary hardware like photo cameras. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware, https://pinoutguide.com/DigitalCameras/micro_usb_8pin_camera_pinout.shtml). A quick google search should bring you suppliers of this type of cable.

I also had this on my PC, if we are talking about the same thing. You simply have to turn down one of the two sounds, Game or "normal" until the noise is no longer there, then turn up the sound at the source. That's what happened to me and I was extremely frustrated at first. Hope that helps you.

Hey Rupert I have owned the headset for about half a year now. In my opinion, it is very comfortable, even wearing it for several hours is no problem and you don't feel any pressure on your head. Therefore, I think it should also fit well with glasses. However, I don't wear glasses myself and can't give you any guarantees... You can also buy ear cups made of different materials from the manufacturer. Maybe something will fit you for extra comfort? The headset has a very low weight on the ears due to the rubber headband, which I only know from SteelSeries. :) Hope this feedback helps you ;)

The headset can be used with or without the GameDAC (it has a jack plug adapter as an accessory), but basically you should use the GameDAC. The virtual surround is completely optional, this function simulates a 7.1 surround system. However, everything sounds like you are sitting in a hall, unfortunately this is standard with all such headsets.
