Question about Lenovo 40a90090ch

Hi. I assume all laptops can be charged with a USB C charging connector. Does the new Surface have such a connector? My Surface Pro 4 still has a proprietary Microsoft adapter. Admittedly with the option of charging a device on the adapter using the usual USB port. But what annoys me a bit is the fact that there is no conventional HDMI/DVI port on the docking station! So no connecting to a TV with HDMI input without an adapter or any annoying plugs.
