Would it work with Sennheiser HD 598 headphones, that have 2.5mm 4-pole male plug on the original cable?

I've been looking for a shorter cable for my HD598 and bought these. Unfortunately, they don't fit (sleeve is too wide)
I had to get it from abroad. These ones here are working for me:

It's TRS plug, so it's 3 conductors for stereo (1 ground). You don't need a TRRS for the HD598
