With a canon eos 5d mark 2 for sports photos? What do you think? When kitesurfing, the riders are sometimes far away. I quickly reach the limit with the 70-300.

Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM this would be a good and "cheap" option

Forget that junk. It doesn't even have AF. You'll have to spend a little more. The EF 100-400 L IS II would be more suitable.
