Will this cable work with a 4K (3840x2160) 144Hz monitor? If not, what are the alternatives?

This is a DP 1.2 cable and goes up to a maximum of 4k 60Hz. 4k 144Hz would probably need a DP 2.0 cable. I don't know at the moment whether something like this is also available with USB C.
