Question about Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
Will the lens fit on a d90? And does it make sense to buy this lens if you want to upgrade later? Thanks
Yes should be on the D90 - the D90 has a smaller sensor than full frame, so this lens is then equivalent to a 42-450mm lens due to the crop factor. But should otherwise work smoothly.
Actually perfect to upgrade to a full frame camera later. It's a strong lens that covers a wide range and shoots very smoothly in low light thanks to the VR.
Minor imperfections such as vignetting and slight distortion are automatically corrected by Lightroom, for example, and are therefore no longer a negative point these days.
