Why do people want information about the colour? :-D Unfortunately I bought 2 spools. As a newcomer to the "3D printer world", I first worked with a demo filament and was very successful and enthusiastic. Even proud of ambitious print models Then I tried my Purefil... because I thought "now it will be even better".... with the perfect print with cheap filaments, I thought now Swiss Precision comes along. What happened: After insertion problems, the print does not work without glue on the print bed, there is still warping (as a consequence of not gluing). After hours and a few temperature turrets (to optimise the parameters) and a few 25 hour long printing processes that went to shit... I'll just throw it in the bin... With the demofilament and others I have beautiful print again and can again.... Too bad, too bad... I thought "Swiss Quality" really meant something. Doesn't seem to be the case. I measured with calipers and measured diameters from 1.74 to 1.90 mm. If you think (even as an inexperienced user) that you control in cm of filament/second, it is clear that the amount of material will vary, and possibly have consequences on the print quality, no? So for me it's a "no-go" for the time being... But I will test it on CR ender 3 (and report back).
Thank you very much for your experience reports with our filaments. Our filaments are continuously measured during production with a laser measuring system in two axes. The laser measuring system has an accuracy of +/-0.002mm. If the diameter deviates, the system automatically adjusts the diameter.
Experience has shown that it is extremely difficult to determine the correct diameter with a caliper gauge. We recommend using at least a micrometer.
However, if your diameter is not within the tolerance of +/-0.05mm for normal filaments and +/-0.1mm for recycled filaments, we will of course replace the faulty spool free of charge. Of course we will also replace the spool which caused problems due to a bad winding. Please contact us by e-mail (info@fabru.eu).
Exactly the same problem! With other filaments I get really nice and clean prints. But not with this one! I have carried out various tests with the temperatures, calibrated the extruder, etc. I have not been able to get a clean print. It was not possible for me to get a clean print. I really can't recommend this filament to anyone! I will order again from our neighbours...
Unfortunately, I had a similarly bad experience with the product. The thickness was in some places (and yes, I know how to read a caliper), close to 2mm thick. This caused the extruder to start jumping and stuttering. The printer has zero problems with other PLA filaments (Ender 3 v2).
