Question about Pure Pop Mini

When the radio is on, the only thing that disappears for me is the date, because the station and/or the volume are then displayed at this point.

The radio allows the brightness of the display to be set separately for "radio on" and for standby. I have selected maximum brightness for "on" and minimum brightness for standby. However, nothing disappears. Even at minimum brightness, the time and date remain legible from a distance of 3 metres. Only the station and title information is gone when the radio is off.
