When I plug in my compressor cooler, the XP500 switches off after about 2 hours and no longer supplies power. No overload is displayed. The display is simply dark and the AC button does NOT light up, nor is there any 230V on the cooler. The cooler does not have any wattage information on the label, but it does say 0.6A - 230V, which corresponds to approx. 138 watts. However, when the compressor is running, it draws 80 watts according to the XP500 display. If the compressor is off, 0W output is also displayed. The temperature is around 25 and the fan of the XP500 only switches on occasionally. For me it looks like the XP500 switches itself off when no consumption is measured, can this be so (would be totally stupid)? Does anyone have an answer / solution or the same problem?

Sounds like a ventilation fault, as the fans should be running continuously during heavy use without switching off due to the heat generated in the components, which could trigger an emergency shutdown in the microcontrol chips.
