What material are the contacts gold-plated with? Is it 14 or 18 carat gold? Or is it just nickel?

After no one from the community and digitec.ch could answer my question, I got the answer from SECOMP Electronic Components GmbH from 76275 Ettlingen DE.
All ROLINE cables with gold contacts have a real gold coating. The coating thickness is 30µm (i.e. 30 micrometres = 0.03mm). SECOMP could not tell me what percentage (or in carats) of real gold is contained in the coating. I suspect that only the Chinese producer could answer this question.
