What is the reason why, according to CH legislation, only one of the two 230V sockets may be used or what (apart from the standard) speaks against using the second socket as well? According to the standard, only two-pin plugs may be used. With an adapter, however, a normal 3-pin plug type J (e.g. for a notebook, monitor, etc.) could also be used. Is there anything against connecting such devices?
As I understand it, this is a limitation regarding safety. If more than one consumer is connected and both have a fault (e.g. short circuit), this can have fatal consequences under certain circumstances. There are many videos on Youtube where people who understand this better than I do explain it in detail. What normally comes out of the back of the power station is not an earthed network, but a so-called IT network. In an IT network, each consumer should actually be separately protected against "fault storms" if several consumers are connected. I also always thought that they simply remove the seal, but I think it is basically justified that only one such connection may be used in Switzerland. Anyone who circumvents this should at least understand what they are doing, because the consequence can be fatal, as I said, and it would actually be worth questioning. In any case, I will only use one can, because in this case I prefer to play it safe, because you know Murphy...
Super product.no matter if 1 or 2 plugs.can only be recommended further
I am not familiar with the regulations in this regard, so I cannot answer the question.
