There is no general answer to this question, as there are countless factors that influence the capture of a sound source. However, it is certainly not suitable for capturing distances greater than 4m. The microphone has a supercardioid characteristic. For longer distances, you would need a lobe characteristic. It is always the same: the further away a sound source is from the microphone, the worse the sound will be. The same applies to the background level: the louder the environment, the less intelligible. Watch Youtube!
