Question about KitchenAid KSM7990
What does the 2.2kg refer to, is it the maximum weight of the flour or the flour plus water? I am looking for a food processor with which I can make pizza dough from 2kg flour (+1.3kg water).

So the machine is not suitable for pizza dough, max 1kg of dough, but even then the gearbox chokes, that's how I broke mine. The machine is great for whipping and airy doughs. For firm doughs, I recommend a spiral mixer, or 2 arms.

Yes, 2.5 kilos is the maximum weight of the machine, i.e. all inclusive. You would probably have to look for something else for your pizza dough. 👀
