What do you say for the people who ordered this powerstation for just under 273.-? Since 1 July 2022, online shops have had to indicate from the outset the price that the customer will have to pay at the end. It must also include VAT, costs for reservations, service or processing. Only the shipping costs may be listed separately. This new rule in the Price Indication Ordinance does not only apply to online retailers. Goods displayed in shops must also be correctly labelled. Likewise, service providers such as hairdressers, photographers or fitness studios must announce the final prices already in the shop - for example with a posted list. If someone does not comply, customers can report this to the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) using a complaint form.
I recently bought a product in a Swiss electronics store (not a promotion), which suddenly cost twice as much at the checkout. Then I pointed out that it was marked at a different price and after a short check on the shelf, I got it for that price, even though there was probably a mistake. I found this very obliging and Galaxus could take a leaf out of my book.
