There is a bit of experimenting to do with the timing in any case. The time for fries depends on the amount (weight) but also the size of each fry (matchstick fries will cook faster than thicker fries).
For example, for a smalll dinner for my wife and myself, I put 400g of fries in the bottom pan with programme 1 and set the time for 25 minutes. I set the (top) tray time for 10 minutes on programme 2 for 8 chicken nuggets. When the programme 1 finished (machine beeped) after 25 minutes, I put the tray with our 8 chicken nuggets in and hit the start button again.
Came out perfect.

Hello, I felt the same way. I also thought the appliance could finish the two foods at the same time. Unfortunately this is not the case, it keeps the first (fries) warm until the second (nuggets) is ready. Regarding your problem, make the fries a little shorter, then you can enjoy them.
I make the fries for 23 minutes (it depends on the type of fries). In my opinion, it's the only machine that can really do fries.
