Unfortunately I have problems with the Logitec Unifyer USB receiver. Does anyone else have the problem that Win10 does not recognise it as such via the KVM switch? I tried to fix the USB power saving and autodetection functions in Win10 but it didn't work until now. Does anyone have the same problem that it only recognises it as a standard HID and therefore the Logitec Options software is not usable?
I have the same problem with multiple PCs as well as well as with multiple units of this model. The trick is to pair your mouse and keyboard while your Unifying receiver is connected directly to a PC. Afterwards you can move the receiver to the KVM an everything will work, despite Unifying receiver no longer visible in Unifying utility tool.
Also Logitech options software will work afterwards (as far as I can see) as it is not depending on whether receiver is discovered only as standard HID.
